Abstract The mediastinum is known as the anatomical structure connecting two pleural sacs. A variety of structures, from organs to veins and arteries, make mediastinal pathology extremely adventurous. We submit case a 67-year-old female patient, former smoker, who presented our clinic with dyspnoea on slight exertion, anterior chest pain ineffective cough. alarming aspect stridor present at regular intervals patient’s dependence oxygen. CT scan reveals compression syndrome caused by tumour located in upper middle that encompasses venous arterial structures exerts an extrinsic stress effect oesophagus tracheal. An emergency fibrobronchoscopy performed it placed Y-shaped tracheal stent; additionally, biopsies are also taken different places. point debate was related coexistence simultaneous histopathological types. medical team’s swift intervention has given this patient fighting chance continue oncological radiotherapy treatment.
